If you are a local, or a seasoned tour guide, or knowing your way around the destination, you can create your own trip, offer it to fellow travelers, and earn money by leading your trip.

Download Open Trip from Google Play Store. Click to download the app →

Welcome to Open Trip! Sign in to your account or create a new account by inputing your full name, e-mail address, and your password. If you're new to Open Trip app, you'll be asked to verify your phone number before getting redirected into the app.

Start Creating a Trip

Tips:

It's best to write down your itinerary on a note before creating your trip in Open Trip. Make sure to plan the following points:

* Destination

* Hourly activity (Itinerary)

* Trip Group Quota

* Price (and what the price covers for)

* Photos of your destination & activity

Go to "Create a Trip" page

Click on the sidebar in the upper-left side of the app and choose

"Create a trip".

Step 1 of 5 - Title, Destination, Description

You are the key of this trip. Give the best title and description for your destination! Get creative in writing the description as it will help attracting travelers to your trip. Upload the best picture that describe your trip!

Step 2 of 5 - Meeting Point, Trip Date, Category

Choose where all trip members should meet before your trip.

Make sure the meeting point easy to access and well know for outsider.

Make an additional note to give the best description about your meeting point.

Provide the date of the trip - when it will be started and ended! You can also give additional dates if you're doing identical trip frequently (e.g. twice a month).

Select a category for your trip to make it easier to be found by travelers.

Step 3 of 5 - Quota, Price Details

Decide the maximum and minimum numbers of people would be allowed to join your trip.

You also need to calculate the price per person.

In order to give your trip member clear understanding regarding the price, please add a detailed explanation of what is included and not included within the price.

Step 4 of 5 - Itinerary, Required Equipment

Trip activities! Give your trip members the best experience of your trip. Write the detailed activity of your trip and upload the best photo that describes your activity.

To give your trip members clear image of your trip, it's best to add hourly activity of your trip.

Coming prepared is the key to an enjoyable trip. Tell your trip members to bring required equipment and also important thing in our important notice page.

Step 5 of 5 - Preview

Almost there! Please review your trip and itinerary before publishing it. Check if there's any error, and once you're sure... Publish your trip!

Once you publish your trip, our team will contact you for verifications, such as your ID and also your Bank Account so we can transfer the money to you directly.

Congratulations!

You are now officially a trip leader in Open Trip.

Do I need to pay another additional price on the apps?

Of course NO! All the price is the final price.

Do you store my credit card details?

Nope! Security is important to us. We do not store any of your credit card details locally. All credit card details are encrypted and stored securely by our payment system provider.
